Lighting of the candles:
*Baruch atah Adonai, Eloheinu, Melech Ha-Olam, asher kid’shanu u’va-dom Yeshua Ha-Mashiach,
v’tsivanu l’h’yot ore l’goyim v’natah lanu Yeshua, M’shichenu, Ha Or L’Olam.

*Blessed are you, O Lord our God, King of the Universe, Who sanctified us by the blood of Yeshua the Messiah
and commanded us to be light for (all) peoples and gave us Yeshua our Messiah, the Light of the world.

V’sham-ru:
*The people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath in every generation as a covenant for all
time.  It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel, for six days the Eternal G-d made heaven and
earth, taking rest and refreshment on the seventh day.
Exodus 31:16-17

*And on the seventh day G-d ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all
His work which He had done.  G-d blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His
work which G-d had created and made.
Genesis 2:2

Blessing for the Children: Aaronic Benediction:

“May Adonai bless you and keep you; Adonai make His face shine upon you, And be gracious unto you; Adonai
lift up His countenance upon you and give you shalom (peace).
Numbers 6:24-26

Ruth 1:16-22, 4:16-22
-May the daughters of Israel and the nations say about you, “Entreat me not to leave you,
Or to turn back from following after you, for wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people,
And your G-d , my G-d.” May you be the mother of many G-d fearers.

1 Samuel 20:42, Matthew 3:3- Then Jonathon said to David,” Go in the name of peace, since we have both
sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, May the Lord be between you and me, and between your descendants
and my descendants, forever. ”May you also be like John the Baptizer, proclaiming the coming of the Messiah
to all ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight.”

Luke 2:36-38- May you be a prophetess, may you serve in His temple, may you continue in fastings and prayers
night and day, may you come in an instant and give thanks to the Lord and speak of Him to all those who look
for redemption in Jerusalem. May you always seek after truth and the Messiah.

1 Samuel 25:32-35- May kings like David say this about you, “Blessed be the Lord G-d of Israel, who sent you
this day to meet me!” And also, may those in authority, such as King David, Heed your voice and respect our
person because you were wise and could see when a person is foolish.

Blessing for the Women (Wives) and Men (Husbands):

Men bless the women:  Proverbs 31

Who can find a virtuous wife for her worth is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain.
She does him good and not evil all the day of her life.
She seeks wool and flax and willing works with her hands.
She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar.
She also rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants.
She considers a field and buys it: from her profits she plants a vineyard.
She girds herself with strength, and strengthens her arms.
She perceives that her merchandise is good, and her lamp does not go out by night.
She stretches out her hands to the distaff, and her hand holds out the spindle.
She extends her hand to the poor, yes; she reaches out her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet.
She makes tapestry for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants.
Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.
She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
“Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.”
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Women bless the Men:  Psalm 112

Praise the Lord!
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
A good man deals graciously and lends; he will guide his affairs with discretion.
Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is established; He will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.
He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.
The wicked will see it and be grieved; he will gnash his teeth and melt away;
The desire of the wicked shall perish.

And you shall love the Lord , your G-d with all your heart, with all you soul, and with all your might.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.

And you shall teach them diligently to your children,
and you shall speak of them when you sit at home,
And when you walk along the way,
And when you lie down and when you rise up.
And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand,
And they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

EAT

TORAH  STUDY/ DISCUSSION

Blessing After Meal:
Blessed are You, Adonai, our G-d, King of the Universe,
Who nourishes the entire world, in His goodness—
with grace, with kindness, and with mercy.
He gives nourishment to all flesh, for His kindness is eternal.
And through His great goodness, we have never lacked,
and may we never lack, nourishment, for all eternity.
For the sake of His Great Name,
because He is G-d who nourishes and sustains all, and benefits all,
and He prepares food for all of His creatures which He has created.
As it is said: ’You open Your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.’
Blessed are You, Adonai, Who nourishes all.
